Re: Beta testers wanted for Shattered Horizon
Windows 7 video drivers are horrid. I can't even play znes on my computer right with it!! My speedstep kicks down into low multi and it won't run games right, when it does it glitches way more than normal. I had to switch back to XP just to wait for it to get a little better. And my CPU usage is ALW...

Re: Best Monitor/Brand
I was going to get the Acer 23" h series. I decided against it since I looked at this HP 23 and it just looked sooo much better. I was expecting to bring it back in 14 days before I had to return it if the glare got to me. Day one I almost did. After I moved my lights. I'm glad I chose the bran...

Re: Grid racing frame rate issues.
I tried different drivers and stuff. I sent back the video card since it was a dark knight edition and I had to underclock it to keep it from artifacting. So I got a GTX 260 and never got the problem. It had to be something with the card I guess.

Based on my experience with Windows 7... Programs that do NOT work: Most drive emulation programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120% Google Chrome (64-bit only) (although can be fixed with a command line argument) Revo Uninstaller (64-bit only) However, my experience is that most programs run pe...

sound in games is off
For some reason when I play games, I have to look down for the front speaker to work right, with music it's crystal clear with all 5.1 speakers. Also in games my sound is EXTREMELY muffled in the rear channels. I have no idea what's going on any ideas? I have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...

Re: which performs Crysis on maximum setting better? not just fp
with that 1.2GB of ram you are adding in 1 more GB from the video card so it will play it alright maybe a few hard drive loads. You want 2.5GB at LEAST with a video card that has 512mb. to even give that card room to breathe.

Re: which performs Crysis on maximum setting better? not just fp
why not more reasonably compared and priced? Put a E8400 with a GTX 285 and you will max it just fine. Just give it 4GB of ram.

If you brought your limit to $100 you can usually find 4870s in there, if not at LEAST always a 4850 before MIR if you open box or re certify.

Re: Time for an LR Folding Challenge?
DAYUM this project sucks!!! haha I didn't know what you all were talking about when you said 511 point WUs suck. My estimated PPD with FAHMON went from 8.5k to 5500 with this one with my GPU.
