Re: I see you guys have slowed down a bit. crypto mining anyone?
I look at it as it covers my entire AC bill. My bill with mining, using AC. Fridge, stove, oven, toaster oven etc. All stays about 80 per month and the PC covers it. Last March my bill was 70 and I don't think it was as hot as this year. This year was 89. I don't think the total cost will go above 2...

Re: I see you guys have slowed down a bit. crypto mining anyone?
I can tell you a single 1070 is bringing in 90 a month so far on avg. 180 bucks in 55 days was my cashout today. With that I'm using it to upgrade to 2 1070s. If it brings in another 180 I may go to a tri sli 1080 set up to see where it goes. If it still brings a profit by August I'm going to get a ...

I see you guys have slowed down a bit. crypto mining anyone?
You guys started me with my first big build. To a 6 gpu mining rig back in the day. Teaching me how to overclock and the family feels were good here. So I wanted to see who was still here. Almost 10 years later as a user, and probably a year or so further of lurking. Does anyone mine? Has anyone not...

bragging a bit and impressed
I just got the Aorus x7 pro with the 970m sli set up. I can't believe how much power this thing has for a laptop. I'm going to upload some videos, pics and benchmarks asap. But, for anyone wondering I'll list the fatal flaws first after coming from ASUS ROG g750 Sound lackluster audio and very low a...

2500k at 5.0 a bottleneck?
Some games are starting to use hyperthreading. I know my rig is overkill. But do you think that my cpu shoukd be upgraded to eliminate the bottleneck of my cards. I have 3 radeon 7970s. Should I just wait for another platform or will an i7 2600k show a difference at 5.0?

1250 watt ocz power supply vs 7870x4
Do you think it'll handle it or shoukd I settle for 3 cards? I understand 3 cards is still overkill. But the only question I have is will it work or die and take everything with it.

Mixing different video cards in SLI. I mean different.
So, apparently there are some works of making SLI work on all video cards with similar architecture. I'm waiting for more info and seeing if anyone has heard of this yet. I saw a forum with results, albeit limited at TomsHardware. If I waited a week to sell my old video card I'd test it out. Unfortu...

Re: FS 2600K, Asus P8Z68-V PRO MB and 8 Gigs RAM
if you separate it post it on here. I was wanting to buy the cpu and maybe motherboard depending on the price. Which your price for all 3 is definitely reasonable. I just have no use for anymore ram.

Re: ASUS TF300T 32GB Tablet
Hopefully you got the nexus. If anyone else is curious the transformer prime is very laggy compared to what it should be. If you got it you should do a cold boot about once a day to make it run decently. I'm thread digging I know. But, I came across this a month ago when I was researching which one ...

Re: Help making videos run more smoothly
If you download K-Lite Codec Pack it gives you an acceleration option (DXVA) when you are installing the program. It might be worth installing to see if it works or not. http://codecguide.com/download_kl.htm Disclaimer: Avoid the 64-bit codecs, they have given me nothing but headaches in the past. ...

Re: I need a case to fit my GPU
So I figured it out. But man how easy would it be if someone just made a site that allowed you to pick a gpu size as an option in a search. I mean seriously. I'd say 50% of cases don't have it listed and the ones that do it's at the bottom hidden in specs. Maybe it's not a huge issue usually. But, I...

Re: I need a case to fit my GPU
Well it's my primary monitor. I got overkill just so I don't have to worry about upgrading for a while. A mid ATX is fine, I just bought the nzxt m59 case and it only supports a 10.5 inch card. I'm currently using an ass 660ti cu 2 and it hardly fits as of now. I didn't even think about it being a f...

I need a case to fit my GPU
I don't want a full tower because it won't fit under my TV. How do you search for a case that will fit a large GPU? Is there an easy way? I just ordered a Video card and I'm coming to realize it won't be fitting in my case. I got the Asus GTX 680 CU2 and it's a foot long. So what sites let you searc...

Help making videos run more smoothly
I have an adequate PC to run a 1080p video in any format. I have a 65" 3d 120hz Samsung HD 3D smart TV. That's what I use for monitor for my PC. However no matter what, unless it's a blu-ray. They(blu-ray) run incredibly smooth on my TV/PC. However when I use VLC It seems to have micro stutteri...

Re: Strange DVD "encryption"
I remember this issue a long time ago. I went to the first of the .vob files and played it with VLC and it seemed to work with no issue at all. Maybe that'll work for you. It went into a menu just like the start of a DVD. So you could choose what you wanted to play. E.g. Movie, trailers, special fea...

Re: Help with my 660 ti
The bios is updated, and I'm using the Asus OC tweaker. I think my issue is my core clock will just not go much above stock. I can run about 300mhz over on my memory. But, my FPS increase isn't really a noticeable difference. I'll just keep it stock. I was only doing this to benchmark. For actual us...

Re: So I upgraded Zeus, the PC you guys helped me build in 2
Thanks for the input guys, I used the fan from the case for the h50, and it definitely was more quiet than the corsair one. I'm extremely satisfied so far. I want to make a full review and benchmarks. I wanted to make a well written review, I just have been busy with my new laptop, camera, work and ...
