GTX 285 2gb Edition Multi-screen Question
Well hello everyone in the LR community. Hope everyone has been doing well! I got my GTX 285 2gb card installed and running properly and I've recently added an HDMI cable that runs to my 2009 42" LG TV. I've been trying to set it up so I could play Rift and Black Ops on my TV as well as use the...

Newest Transplant Job
Well guys I just officially finished transplanting and upgrading my HP Pavilion Elite m9450f. Of course the simple video card update turned out to be a bigger excursion than planned. Here's what I ended up with: Thermaltake V9 Gamer Tower Intel Core2 Quad Q9300 CPU ASUS Benicia GL8E(aka IPIBL-LB) EV...

Re: Suggestions/Recommendations for Desktop Vid Card Upgrade
Well I knew it was a x16 slot but I didn't know the difference between that and the 2.0 and 2.1 versions I'm seeing or if that's just a matter of drivers. The GTX 460 was what had caught my eye. Initially I was thinking about the GTS 450 but after seeing the difference in power I figured I'd be bett...

Suggestions/Recommendations for Desktop Vid Card Upgrade
Hey LR Members, Was considering upgrading the PCI-e 9800GT 512mb video card I've got on my HP Pavilion m9450f desktop but I wasn't sure how to tell if I have PCI-e x16, PCI-e 2.0, or PCI-e 2.1 type of a card so I thought I'd ask for some recommendations on cards that are in the $100-$150 range and a...

Re: Issues Uninstalling Norton Internet Security on New Lapt
Got the problem solved. Went into my program files and found that the initial Kasparsky install attempt had unpacked the files so every time I tried to do it again it thought it was already installed. I deleted the files then tried again and it worked perfectly! :) The suggestion for the Norton Remo...

Re: Issues Uninstalling Norton Internet Security on New Lapt
Successfully got Norton Internet Security removed using the Norton Removal Tool but once I'd rebooted and tried to reinstall again I still got the same error so I thought I'd SS it and upload it to see if that helps at all. Once again I appreciate the speedy responses! http://i51.tinypic.com/1z2k22x...

hmmm I never really thought of the GPU2 client instead of 3. I was wondering why it looked like it was moving a little slower in progress per fold and stuff when I checked the display

Re: Right-Click Problem in Vista?
Wow! First suggestion fixed it perfectly! Thank you so much! I was really dreading formatting and starting over but can you tell me what causes that and why a check disk command fixes it? I'm really curious about what was making it happen. Butttttt THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN LR FOR SAVING ME!! THIS IS WHY...

Alrighty well I killed another barracuda only this time I know it wasn't entirely all my fault since HP decided to send me a refurbished harddrive. ***UPDATE*** Seems that my video card F@H is having problems uploading the completed WU's. Every time I check it it's completely finished the unit but won't upload the results for some reason. I deleted the work folder and will see what happens in the AM but I wanted to post to see if there were any...
