Re: Bubba

The Powerspec 3D Pro I have has done quite well. Going down in cost is the Monoprice Marker Select Plus, do the mosfet mod to ensure there is no failures to the electronics. Going up in cost, Prusa Mark II, Utilimaker 2 REALLY going up in cost Formlabs Form 2 I would also highly recommend Simplify 3...

Re: Windows 10 and quick access new window issues

.... P.S. I hate Adobe cause it is ungodly expensive and I am too stupid to understand it :finga: I use Creative Cloud at work, upside to CC is that you can install it on 2 devices. So I have it on my desktop at work and at home... I used to have it on my laptop, but I hate doing photoshop work on ...

Re: Windows 10 and quick access new window issues

From what I have read the windows/cc headbutting has been an issue for some (not all) CC users for 2 years. Both sides say issue is due to the other. I'm leaning Adobe, because the issue seems to popup after using an export option in Photoshop. The issue repeated on my laptop (also windows 10), roll...

Re: Windows 10 and quick access new window issues

I had tried that, still no luck. Narrowed it down to combination of windows updates and Adobe Creative Cloud updates butting heads. Rolled back to an old restore point this morning and CC updates, issue went away. Avoiding the CC updates for a while. Annoying as all get out.. it was ONLY on the quic...

Windows 10 and quick access new window issues

All of a sudden any folder I have pined in Explorer's "Quick Access" section any folder I try to look at opens a new window even with it set to open in same window. But if I open a shortcut or folder on desktop, it behaves the way it should, opening things in the same window. Its driving m...

Re: gigabit dropped to 100mb and don't know why

It either died, or there was a driver push in Win10 that dorked it up.

Boot to a linux live disk see if the speed comes back. If it does, something in Win10 has ya boofed, if it stayed the same its hardware.

My present to myself this year... a 3D Printer. Some may not know I build props and stuff with my son. I decided to step it up a notch this year and get a 3D printer, he doesn't know because I have in my office at work. Using it to make up birthday gifts for this year. Re: AOC G2460VQ6 Dying?

clicking noise sounds like a power issue that had on a Samsung monitor. The checkering sounds like a driver issue I had with an AMD APU.

I'd hit up the manufacturer see what they say, under a year should be able to RMA it.

Check the model number of your phone. If it supports Qualcomm quick charge 2.0 you are good to go.

Re: Fast Mobile Charging Motherboard

Could have sworn I replied to this once... anyhoo... Normal USB charging is something like 5v at 0.5amps, and fast charging is up to 12v at 3amps. If the device is setup for the fast charge, the charge circuit in the device is setup with a battery that can handle the faster charge rate.... unless yo...

Re: AM4?

I have a bad taste left from all the crap I went through with several A6 and A10 builds.

Maybe after they are out a year or so and I can see how the reliability is, I might consider them for shop PCs, but office and home is all Intel.
