Re: Changing OS harddrives

I will give your PCDickClone sugestion a shot Bio-Hazard. I found a few programs online, but I am leery of using programs online without someone else saying they are good.

So thanks again all.

Changing OS harddrives

As my signature states, I have an older PC. Currently it has 2 IDE harddrives in it. I am trying to slowly upgrade my computer to lessen the balloon price of upgrading. My first order of business is to replace my harddrives with a new SATA drive. Since the SATA IIs are backward compatible with the o...

I am surprised our network let this through even. Seems everything is blocked for 'security' reasons.
I always thought we had a fast connection here. Seems I was wrong.

I didnt realize how old this thread was when I started reading it. I was wondering why you guys were referencing numbers from 2003-2005. Cool Keyboard though. Pricey, but cool.

I'll take a stab at that case.

I was thinking about the Nine Hundred before, but this one looks even better.

I happen to love my Athlon (not Athlon XP) processor. Okay, maybe not love, I plan every day on replacing it.

Re: U.S. lags behind in broadband infrastructure

It is interesting to see that we lag behind percentage wise, but I wonder how this chart would look if it was based on miles of broadband cables. I see the smaller countries or those with much higher population densities are at the top of the chart.

Re: Best gaming 22" 1080p monitor on a budget?

If you don't do graphics work, hanns-g is a nice, cheap, brand. I've got a 22" and it looks really good BUT the colors aren't spot-on. They look just fine, only slightly off, but for graphics design it really throws you off. I love it to death for gaming though. It is a 1680x1050 with full 108...

Since you mentioned the DuOrb is half the height of the NV-120, can you tell if it will fit into the QPack2 mini case? Cooling the CPU has been the only thing holding me back from going that route.

even if you get a mainstream newer card vs. going sli will see improvement unless you game at like 1600x1200 Can you rephrase that? Are you saying that either choice will see improvements? Or that the single main stream will be better than the SLI? I wouldn't do SLI (or CrossFire) right now, I am j...

I tell people that too, but sometimes it might make sense to just get the second card for ~$150 (price by the time I need to upgrade) than to go and spend $300 on the "next new thing".

P35 supports 1 16x and 1 4x crossfire, not sli. How does the 4x PCI-E affect the video cards performance, whether CrossFire or SLI? Is it noticeable difference in performance over 2 16x slots? I am wanting to try and make an upgradeable computer, but I hate to have to spend $250+ on a board with 2 ...
