Re: Gaming Laptop

Holy thread revival. I don't think you know what you're talking about. Did you not notice that post was from 2011! An yes a 13" can be a gaming laptop. My Acer 4820TG held its own. - A gaming laptop is not 13.3" but rather 17" and up! Wrong Sager has 13.3 that is more than capable of ...

Re: AMD Radeon R9 Nano 4GB Video Card Review

Really surprised you guys gave this a Recommended Award. With them not sending samples out I think I will just start buying Nvidia. They're losing GPU market share but continue to overprice them. Sorry AMD your PR, price and performance has driven me to Nvidia.

Re: New Laptops (and desktops?) come without COAs now?

Sometimes they come under the battery. Windows 8 has a feature that will nuke all the bloatware and just re-install windows without any media like you can on your phone. You can also create a bootable recovery image so can regain that partition space. If you are going to install Windows 7 I would de...

Hot!! 10-13 Mustang Aftermarket Navigation $482

I recently installed this in my 2011 GT and works great. Looks factory, retains all SYNC features and adds navigation and a back up camera. Hardest part about the install was the camera. Instructions are lacking but not to hard to figure out http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER Amer...

Re: ASRock can kiss MY asrock

Right there with, I've been building PC for about 13 years now and have never ever seen a motherboard catch on fire from a non overclocked setup. It worked great for 11 months and this past Saturday it shut off and would not power back on. I removed everything except the 24 and 4 pin connector on th...

Sager NP8170 / Clevo P170HM, 17.3", i7, AMD HD 6990M, 16 GB

Selling a Sager NP8170. I traded a MSATA for a broken laptop on hardocp. I have a NP8150 so I swapped my 6990m and it worked. I did a couple stress test and the laptop work great. I left the 6990M in and selling it without a hard drive. I have it listed on ebay as well but asking $700 for it shipped...

Re: Fractal Design Node 605 Silent HTPC Case Review

The motherboard tray can handle MicroATX, Mini ITX, DTX, and a standard sized ATX board. Should you choose to use a board larger than mATX, you will no longer be able to use a slim-line ODD slot.
Is this from experience or from the instructions? Do you still have the case?
