Kinky. Still I'm looking for a more usual wireless design.

Re: Take a look at this. (i7 TLB bug)
Thanks for the clearing up. I also thought that it was quite strange that none of the initial reviewers didn't stumble upon anything like this. So it's no "told-ya-so" and "let us not be hasty" for the lucky few with X58's.

Take a look at this. (i7 TLB bug)
We were told that Intel's Nehalem, the CPU that we know as Core i7 has TLB. TLB, three letters that have destroyed the sales of Phenom and Opterons based on 65nm K10 cores, stands for Translation Lookaside Buffer, and Intel officialy states in its Intel Core i7 Processor, Extreme Edition Series and...

Re: CyberPower Gamer Infinity GTX System Review
Same thing. It's three gigs short of being a true "Dream system". I mean- when you buy a rig at that price those extra bucks on six gig kit won't hurt that much.

How about a Giga Byte GA-EP45C-DS3R? It stands pretty high in my book.

Re: Cooler Master V8 CPU Cooler Review
Well it performs nicely, the price isn't that hurting and I like how it looks. Still I won't jump the gun saying that it is ugly/beauty because such words have no signicance to me. Anyhow the wiring could be done in a more friendly way but I could manage the fan replacement even if it involves some ...

there are however after market watercooling blocks Sure there are... Call from her that there's something leaking from the case is the last thing I need. Anyhow- I mailed my coursemate and must deeply dissappoint you guys. The real estate dude from which she bought the new apartment took a bit more...

Re: "Hands untied" build.
Yup, it's a reference design. Anyhow I haven't seen any X2's with a non reference cooling. Any ideas on aftermarket cooling? I saw a rather "innovative" cooling mod for that card but I wouldn't like to experiment with such expensive piece of hardware. There was some word about CoolIT desig...

Re: Mouse annoyances
It isn't too bad to go through the insides of your mouse to see what you can see. I once had some Creative 5-button optical mouse but after three years of intense use only the wiring tore off the plate. Now I have the fancy Logitech MX revolution laser mouse but when I have time ill try to solder th...

Re: "Hands untied" build.
Okaay... And how would you actually know that it's me and her? It isn't like you could get a cpu-z validation for that stuff. I think i'll post some pics about building that beastly rig. But I can't guarantee that the owner of the computer will agree for a photoshoot. But still- how could you know t...

Re: "Hands untied" build.
The girl wants the rig to be really powerful for gaming so I don't think the HD4650 is really an option. As I said- i'll drop the sound card off the list and get the Q9550 also some decent air cooling (Big Typhoon) and try pushing it to the limit at stock v-core.

Re: "Hands untied" build.
First thing first that is NOT a blu-ray burner it just reads all formats so I added a second drive for cd/dvd burning. And about the HX620- I'm a fan of that PSU (after the HD4870X2 CF "incident") but in Latvia its kinda hard to get those. Theres only one retailer who sells those and they ...

"Hands untied" build.
So the other day my coursemate was telling me she had left her fiance and that she's moving to another apartment. Also she added that shes buying an iMac. I tried not make an agonizing scream about Mac's price/performance ratio. After a few hours of red wine she agreed that Mac's are prolly not the ...

It should be called- "Alyx makeup and botox lipz mod". Other than that I'm not so big of a fan of overdone high dynamics lighting.

The first one funny as hell- especially presenting naughty books to schoolkids, but the map was basically a tunnel system. The moral choice system was way too black and white. Press mouse 1 to kill your sister and get the awesomly uberpowerful sword or... press mouse 2 to not kill your sister and go...

Re: Any decent flying type games?
I'd suggest IL-2 Sturmovik with all expansions. The graphics engine is well optimised to run on almost any rig, still it could be cranked to break sweat on a 8800. The level of simulation can be tuned from where the main thing you'll be fighting is YOUR plane to a setting which is being reffered to ...
