Re: Intel Super Bowl Ads - Thoughts and Feedback?
I thought the ad was cute. But who needs cute when you are talking Intel. I wanna see some info on the new processors and how they crush the competition.

Re: Need to move to new Web Host - Need recommendaitons
Thanks for all the recommendations. I have heard a lot of good about media temple, but it is way to much for what I do, and really, with my job situation at the moment. I had PowWeb many, many years ago and they were pretty good. I actually went with Dreamhost, mainly because of the price. I got in ...

Re: Video Card Reviews In General
The biggest hindrance to doing a lot of what you are asking for is time. There are times when Nate (and other sites I am sure) only get the card 24-48 in advance, and there is just not the time to do all of the testing for every little aspect. The companies really need to get there acts together and...

Need to move to new Web Host - Need recommendaitons
I really need to move hosts soon. Cost is a big factor for me, as my job situation is changing here soon. I need a decent host, mainly for blog and family stuff. What are the recommendations/deals you have seen lately?
Thanks in advance!

yeah, ive had my fair share of ECS trouble as well, PC CHIPS=ECS= terrible BIOS options(didn't have a single voltage choice, slim on everything else as well) and things just don't work properly, and its layout was god awful(ONE 3-pin fan connector at the bottom left corner, which i used for the chi...

Re: Instant Boot on ASRock N7AD-SLI Motherboards
A lot more out-takes than I wanted, that is for sure. I am testing the board now, so I do not have the ability to test the software on another board right now. 10 watts was used at the "fast" setting. 7 was used without using the software, and 8 watts was the reading for the "regular&...

Re: ASUS M3A79-T Deluxe Motherboard Review
Curious what the overclocking difference was between the two boards. I haven't been keeping up with AMD lately but wasn't SB750 supposed to be the cure for AMD's horrid overclocking performance with Phenom? Overclocking will not be much different if at all. We did not spend much time on it on this ...

Re: Asus M3A78-T Motherboard Review
I heard that this board bios still have problem with 9850BE, have it been fixed? Anyone know? some says is better to work with 9750... suggestion? Was thinking to build it with 9850BE, and Saphire 4870. Once again, I had no issues once I got a half way decent BIOS. Sorry it took so long to answers ...

Re: Asus M3A78-T Motherboard Review
any comments on sound quality? Specifically, is the audio circuitry quiet? I've just had a go at an HTPC using the Gigabyte GA-MA78GPM-D2SH and the poor audio is unacceptable - tons of high frequency noise being picked up over the bus, even with a high end PCI sound card. I did not spend a lot of t...

Re: Asus M3A78-T Motherboard Review
Does this mobo supports Phenom 9850BE? According to the asus website http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/cpusupport.aspx?SLanguage=en-us it is not supported. But the review was done with it. Any issues to overclocking? Bios Issues? I had no issues at all once I got a decent BIOS and some of the sett...

Thanks for the review, but did you get the chance to test media playback? Also I noticed that the ATI 3450 card you used for the hybrid testing had an HDMI port on it, could you tell me who makes this particular card? Cheers. It is the Visiontek. I picked it up at Best Buy for $84.99 (You can buy i...

Re: Which motherboard company is more efficient ASUS or Gigabyte
I am surprised that this review did not compare performance of the two boards. So what if the Asus saves more power when I don't know how much performance it's sacrificing in order to do so? I think a much fairer comparison between the boards would be in terms of performance per watt. I agree with ...

Re: Which motherboard company is more efficient ASUS or Gigabyte
I notice that in the Gigabyte table, there are absolutely no changes in processor frequency between the default settings (which I assume is with DES off), and with any of the levels enabled. (That is to say, it idles at 2Ghz and ramps up to 3Ghz under load with or without DES) That leads me to beli...
