Re: Unable to create new folders Win 7 SP1
Me too. It's my brother's computer. He's not very tech savvy plus he's been fighting colon cancer for 3 years. Everyone's astonished he's still alive. He's very weak so trying even to fix a minor glitch is too much for him. This is the first time I've seen him in over 18 months. I was shocked at ho...

Re: HUAWEI Ascend Mate2 Smart Phone - $299 Free & Clear Phon
Paranoid people would say they have backdoors in their products to allow Chinese govt in (I don't believe it but US Congress does) They just won the contract to supply our VDSL modems, just as im about to hand in my notice. This time next week I'll have been 12 Years in the place - time for a fresh ...

Re: Linksys WRT1900AC Dual Band Wireless AC Router Review
I was hoping that the lack of speed was due to the firmware version, but it's not like this router *just* got released. We were provided a new firmware that Belkin/Linksys are planning to release to the public in the next few weeks, but it really made no difference in performance. We did look at th...

Re: Linksys WRT1900AC Dual Band Wireless AC Router Review
Nice review (as always) I suspect the speed is due to firmware issues since there was only one f/w update available since launch. Generally router vendors initial f/w build(s) just ensure the basic functionality and then they work on performance after. (It will have to improve to justify the cost) M...

The led's around the board frame everything perfect. The cpu block led's remind me of a flux capacitor :-D

Re: Corsair Force LX 256GB SSD Review
It's great to see the cost per GB finally come down for mainstream users to be able to afford SSD's which are big enough for Windows 7/8 & the bulk of; if not all, their data. Most people won't notice the lower write speed either. I just need cheaper large (256GB) mSATA drives to drop in price. ...
