Re: Custom Loop Failure!
This is why I never use colored fluids, only clean, sterile water. My system was running the 1700x and the GPU with WC blocks for 6 years before I changed the CPU and GPU and changed the water. I also took apart the WC blocks to clean them, but they were clean as new. No gunk, no algae, no nothing i...

Re: GPU running at lower speeds
I tried afterburner and a funny thing happened, after raising the power limit to 40% and raising the clocks to 2029mhz, the actual speed went up to 1867mhz, which is still less than the original boost clocks but close enough, so I will leave it at this. Anyway, I bought this card used in the spring ...

Re: Windows 11....?
I'm using Windows 10 Ameliorated, which is a german project, that has ALL the spyware, bloatware removed from it, incl. forced updates, cortana etc. It uses way less resources, it's not spying on everything I do. is about as fast as win7 was and has all the functionality of win 10 anyway. https://ar...

Re: Newegg ???
Gamers Nexus is trying to fix issues with Newegg return practices. It's a long video but worth to watch. They actually flew to California and met with Newegg executives.

Re: GPU running at lower speeds
The card is the reference one, but I have a alphacool WC block on it. Will try afterburner but I doubt it would help. Will see.

Re: GPU running at lower speeds
It's an AMD RX 5700XT reference board and I'm not using Afterburner, since I'm not OC-ing but I think it should run at default advertised specs anyway. BTW, I looked up recommended PSU's for this card and AMD recommends at least a 600W PS and mine is a 650W gold rated, so it should be fine also. Wit...

Re: Help needed!
I found a company in California, who specialize on fixing problems like this. I found them on youtube and the guy seems to be very good. There is info in their video description, so I've sent them pictures of the issue and if they deem to be able to fix it, I will send the card to them for repair.. ...

Re: GPU running at lower speeds
So you are telling me to try a driver from let's say 1 or 2 years ago? will try and post back. Thanks. Curious if you ever figured out what was causing your GPUs slow clock speeds? I just changed my MOBO to a gigabyte aorus b550 elite and the CPU to a Ryzen 5800x, naturally reinstalled windows and ...

Re: GPU running at lower speeds
Thanks for the link. I've read through but it seems they have no clue what the issue is. The problem is not minor though because 1650mhz is way off the 1905mhz stock boost clocks and even worst of 2100mhz that this card is capable with my water cooling loop. I've been googling this but nothing I so ...

GPU running at lower speeds
I have a weird problem , I have never encountered. My AMD RX 5700 XT IS running lower than the default clocks and it never boosts up to it's supposed boost clocks. The default GPU clock should be 1755mhz and the boost clock should be 1905 but in furmark it only runs 1650-1672mhz. The temps are fine,...

MOSFET - https://datasheetspdf.com/pdf/1418728/MagnaChip/MDU2657/1 Not sure if that is the exact one. I highly doubt it will be fixed by replacing the chips. Was it overclocked? Some power management probably failed on the card, PSU or MB to let more power come through than should have and ZAP. I a...

what do you mean? Not from you or not on this forum? I just need suggestions where to look for the info, like maybe the MSI customer support or any, even pay sites where to get the technical manual maybe?

Help needed!
My son's MSI GTX 1060 3GB OC just blew up yesterday. It emitted sparks and some black fumes and just died, the PC shut down. After removing the card and the cooler, I was able to easily identify the parts that burned, although I have no idea why they did. My son was just doing some study on the PC w...

Re: No Posts In 7 Years, But Still Turning in Work Units In 2018
Nah, I used to be fanatical about folding but not since I know that all today's western medical "science" is worth crap. They sit on the horse backwards. I just keep my immune system strong with avoiding poison (no junk, pop drinks, gmo etc.), eating organic, exercising, sleeping enough, ...
