Re: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X and Threadripper 1920X Processor Review

It seems now you could just sell your mining rigs, get one Threadripper unit, swap in 4 VEGA's and have about the same amount of mining units done. I read VEGA can do 100MH/s+/card. You could save a lot of power and heat this way.

Re: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X and Threadripper 1920X Processor Review

$1700 and $2000 for the i9? I hope their sales just go down the drain! These greedy bastards are the responsible for top CPU prices going over $1000 in the first place! It looks like the $290 Ryzen 1700 is the best price/performance winner anyway! Good job AMD! Great, very well written review Nate! ...

Nice keyboard and review Nate. Now, would you prefer it over a corsair or other more known brand names like Razer? I mean the price is about the same but I never heard of this brand name.

Re: The Best GPU For Ethereum Mining – NVIDIA and AMD Tested

Would be nice to have a tutorial on how to setup Ethereum mining, like what to download from where, where to register, how to get paid etc.

Re: Intel Introduces Skylake-X, Kaby Lake-X and X299 Platform

Would be nice to see a comparison of the Core i7-7800X and the Rysen 1700 ($299 on Amazon) that can be OC'd to 4Ghz. Both should be compared stock and OC'd. Since these are the sweetspots of AMD and Intel in multicore CPU segment. I know that Intel will probably be faster but the question is - is it...

In Europe everything is same price or more than in the US but in pounds or euros and not $, so you will probably pay more for a used item, than buying a brand new one in the states!

Re: Sound Card(s) | the less discussed and valued component these days?!

I will have to disappoint you. When it comes to sound quality, the best were made by creative 10-15 years ago and are stereo. Of course they are the best for music but not for movies. Anyway, you would of been best off wanting both to retain your old audigy because sound quality is getting worse wit...

Re: Help! Weird problem.

Unfortunately that's not it. Win. update is turned off since I installed windows. I'm think it must be an update on skype or zonealarm or maybe a hardware failing. The highest CPU usage is shown @ "system idle process" which makes no sense to me.

Help! Weird problem.

I need help. My rig is behaving strangely since yesterday. The CPU usage according to task manager is jumping between 20+ and 50+ % and RAM is around 6GB @ idle, when it used to be 2-3% CPU and about 1.9GB RAM. There is only Zonealarm and skype in the background as before but the cumputer is acting ...

Re: Need help with a new Ultrabook

No, There is one but that one has an UHD screen and she doesn't want that (it is retarded anyway to have 4K resolution on a 13" screen). It is also touchscreen and she doesn'tlike that. Stupid Dell has no options to upgrade the RAM with the non-touch version.

Re: AMD Ryzen 7 1800X, 1700X and 1700 Processor Review

It seems there is not much room for overclocking, as AMD pushed their new CPU's pretty much to the limit, so this should also be considered, as intels are good OC'ers.
