Re: Charter Implementing New Cable Download Caps For All Users

This is a new concept to us here in America and frankly I think it sucks. Isn't the point of having a high spe...

Re: Antec 1200 Radiator?
Yeah and since it costs just $55.80 it isn't too expensive if you wanted to play around with it. I haven't seen one since the prototype when I was in Taiwan , but it seemed to look decent although it wasn't running. Ok, you can offically no longer be jealous of my job when yours lets you travel all...

Re: New 2gb ram kit problems
To the NB? how would that help the ram stability? And you're saying make it 1T for all four sticks or just while playing with the crucial? Sorry, i should have said 2T (its a memory timing) The "nb" is the northbridge (chipset). This is the memory controller and using 4 sticks of r...

Re: Running 12GB of DDR3 Triple Channel Memory on Intel Core i7
That's true. I just upgraded from twin X1900's to a 4870, from 2GB RAM to 8GB, and from 2.4G to 3.2G. So I've done my work for the "season". Next upgrades a new motherboard and chip so I figure i7's where I'll head. Was wondering if I could creep a LITTLE more out of the ole C2D using SSD...

Re: Need Help, New computer on network....
Even without permissions, you should see the pc on the network.
Try going to My Network Places, then on the left click "View Workgroup Computers"
You should see the PC there. If you can see it, you can map the shared folder in My Computer via the tools menu

Re: Keeps on failing - after I changed mobo
Try booting the system with it removed from the case. Place the board on the anti-static bag and also on the motherboard box, only have 1 stick of ram, cpu, gfx & monitor connected. There could be a short causing failure to boot. make sure you have all power cables connected correctly and also c...
