Any GTX460 + Onkyo TX-SR876 (or 906) users out here?
I just moved from the Marantz SR-5005 to an Onkyo TX-SR876 because I wanted to upgrade from Audyssey MultEQ to Mult EQ XT and could make a good deal on the Onkyo. Tonight I fired up my HTPC in order to play a Blu-Ray movie. Unfortunately NO SOUND. I checked the Nvidia Control Panel and the audio pro...

dead GTX570?
I just got a P N Y GTX570. I plugged the two PCI-e connectors (6-pins) in my 1000watt power supply. I get nothing, zero. Tried to plugin the card in the pci-e slot back a few times to make sure it s tightned but that s also not the problem. Also did a W7 reinstall to be sure but this also gave no re...

NVIDIA GTX460 'no audio devices installed'
Hi guys, I just bought a GTX 460 card and want to use the high res. audio (DTS-MA/TrueHD bitstream) from the card. I tried to install and reinstall the NVIDIA driver over and over again but I just keep getting 'no audio devices are installed' under sound options. The strange this is that the NVIDIA ...

Re: Overclocking QX9650 on Asus P5G41T-M LE
Here's my personal experiences with a socket 775 Core processor. Find the overlock you're happy with (say 4.0GHz). Getting there only adjust the CPU VID. This should make you stable. I don't recommend going over 1.4V unless you're on a good water cooling loop (I don't consider a boxed unit good wat...

Overclocking QX9650 on Asus P5G41T-M LE
Hi, I just made a good deal on a QX9650 processor which has an unlocked multiplier. This is great for my Asus P5G41T-M LE which seems to have a limitation of the FSB of 399 (I used to own a Q9450 and with my board I just could not get the FSB past 399 no matter what I did with voltages etc.). I m on...

ATI CCC Pixel Format problem
I installed a HD5450 in my HTPC and installed the latest AMD Driver. I want to choose RGB 4:4:4 Pixel Format PC Standard (Full RGB) but the ATI software keeps reverting back to yCbCr 4:2:2:2 Pixel Format after 30 seconds or so. Anyone knows this problem too and have a solution? My setup: W7 x64 ATI ...

technical questions about BTB and WTW for HTPC(ati) users
Been busy the 'BTB/WTW' thing for HTPC users for some time now. I still don t understand how to config my system properly. Here s some information: - I only play standard def. and HD1080p video content (dvd, blu-ray, m2ts, wmv, mkv, mpeg, mov) - I own a JVC RS20 projector that has a 'HDMI range' opt...

ati 23Hz profile isn t saved ok, solution possible?
when switching from my monitor to my ati custom 'Projector' profile (1920x1080@23,976Hz) I always have to manually go to the ati CCC and choose 23Hz and apply this. Tried to save the profile at that moment (when 1920@1080@23Hz (23,976) is active) but it doesn t get remembered by the CCC. Switching t...

Question for JVC projector and HTPC users with a ATI 5xxx ca
I just switched from my good old ATI 4350 to a new HD 5670 to finally have to possibility to bitstream HD audio. However, what I already knew, the new 5xxx series has a bug. When you select 'Pixel Format PC Standard (Full RGB)' it is NOT sending this out actually. With the 4xxx series this was ok an...

deep blacks (Full RGB) are not correct with new 5xxx card
Problems with the new 5750 I just bought: I can select Full RGB without problems in the CCC (see picture 1) but deep blacks are just not shown (crushed blacks). Switching back to my old 4350 solves the problem and deep blacks are correct. So I m 100% sure it s a driver related problem with the new 5...

23Hz (23,976) option troubles with JVC RS20 projector
I have a strange problem: I own the Asus HD4350 with the 9.10 driver installed and a JVC RS20 projector. When I go into the CCC and select 1920x1080@23Hz (23Hz ATI is 23,976 actually as you guys probably know) and apply this format my JVC projector accepts this signal (for that moment) and reports b...

CrossFireX, Asus HD4350 silent with new Sapphire 5770
I ve read something on the back of my recently bought Sapphire 5770 card about the CrossFireX feature. Does this mean I can put in both my cards in my motherboard and have more GPU power? How does this work exactly?

23,976 not possible with ATI (only 24Hz), alternative?
topic title says the most: I own the ATI HD4350 and Windows7 with the latest 9.9 driver. Since ATI exist it has never been possible with their own CCC to have a 1920x1080@23,976Hz profile, only 1920@1080@24Hz. I want EXACTLY 23,976Hz. I know there is Powerstrip from Entech but this progrma only give...

ATI Asus HD4350, use DVI and HDMI at the same time
Hi guys, My Asus 4350 VGA output went down last night. Is it possible to run two display devices by connecting my TV to the HDMI output of the 4350 and my vga monitor to the DVI output with a DVI->VGA adapter? I ask this because I ve read somewhere on the net that it is only possible to have a combi...

using ATI CCC Pixel Format, FFDshow RGB HQ still needed?
A few months ago I had some question about the black levels and enhanced/normal setting on my projector. I solved everything (with the help of you guys!) by changing the ATI CCC Pixel Format option to RGB:Full and putting my projector on ENHANCED. What I also did (on the advise of someone users here...

Asus 4350, running three monitors possible?
Guys, I own the Asus 4350 card which has three outputs: 1xVGA out, 1x HDMI out and 1x DVI out. At this moment I have connected my 19'' LCD monitor to the VGA out and my1080p beamer to the HDMI output. This all works fine. What I would like to do is running a THIRD monitor on my system. This would be...

Media Player Classic HC VMR9 question
Strugling with lipsync problems for months now. Yesterday was a breakthrough! I finally found out something which you guys maybe can help with: When I disable the d3d (remove tearing) option I get NO LIPSYNC problems. When I enable it I get lipsync troubles from the very beginning of a movie. Lock-b...

Multi-Channel sound on 4350 not working 100%, (ONLY 2-channe
Guys, I wanted 5.1 multi channel audio over HDMI out of my HD4350 card. (this is my card https://www.compumusic.com/Photo.asp...=354630&size=3). So, I downloaded the latest ATI HDMI audio driver (http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_ca...p/hdmiaudio-xp) and all was working fine until last night: Th...

ATI extra hotkeys possible?
I own the ATI HD4350 with the latest 8.12 cat. driver and ccc. I use XP with SP3. In the ccc you can FORCE a HDTV resolution eg. 1920x1080@24Hz and 1920x1080@50Hz. I have to swith often between those two because I live in PAL-land (I play both 24 and 25Hz material). Everytime I want to swith I have ...
