Re: ADATA XPG Spectrix D40 16GB RGB DDR4 Memory Review

I was recently looking for basic value ddr3 8gb single stick and that set me back £40 used let alone £55 new. It's stupid pricing at the moment and fixed pricing on memory here in the uk has stuck since 2015 when memory prices sky rocketed. I got my current corsair vengeance pro 4x4gb 1600 kits for ...

What games do you currently play?

So what games are everyone playing and are you console or pc?

I currently play 7 Days To Die, Rising Storm 2 Vietnam, Killing Floor 2 and Warframe. I play a lot of indie games and love to support devs in getting greenlight on steam. go indie teams :)

I'm still here gaming away on my pc :finga: Love my rig and play almost everyday. I play a number of games but 90% FPS. I currently play 7 days to die, rising storm 2, warframe and killing floor 2. Sometimes I switch back to old games for nostalgia and for the good old days. In fact I'll start a thr...

Re: Looking into new water cooler!

I have the Lepa Exllusion 240 and it is a great cooler. Got it about 3 months after release and still going at full speed. I have only used mine for 4-6 hours a day with pump at 100%/4000rpm 25% above its rated max speed. Even Enermax have said its rare for a pump to far exceed its rated speed but n...

Re: Does anyone here mine Cryptocurrency with nvidia cards

I have looked into it and yes mining is expensive. while it can be beneficial, the gains are just not worth the time and effort. Besides that poor gpu is under a lot of stress 24/7 as that is what you would need to do in order to make anything worth while. good luck if your going down that route. Th...

Re: Still Rocking The i7 2600k

Currently my res/pump are at full speed 4000rpm and my rad fan ML Pro 120 are at 2000rpm until they hit 50c then jump up slowly to 2400rpm. Will be linking my res/pump to pwm so I sit at 3000rpm until 50c then slowly ramp up to 4000rpm. the reason I ended up getting the sandy instead of another ivy,...

Still Rocking The i7 2600k

Happy new year everyone, It's been a while since I posted last. so I have had this cpu for 2 years and got it second hand from ebay. The seller claimed it had been at stock with stock fan for 5 years and never gone above 60c. So now I have the 2600k running at 5ghz HT on @1.416v (1.404v full load) w...

Re: HX 1050 Silver RMA!

I've only had 1 fail and that was during a Thunderstorm! that's not bad going :) As you can see in my sig, i have corsair memory and psu. recently added the corsair ml120 pro red edition fans to my lepa exllusion 240 rad. looking at getting some more corsair...

Re: HX 1050 Silver RMA!

well I got my replacement today and I have the hx1000i. the link software doesn't do anything that hwinfo cant already do. but after checking hwinfo against link I get the same readings from both except hwinfo is more accurate due to decimal point. (+12v on LINK 12.2v & +12v on Hwinfo 12.225v) H...

Re: HX 1050 Silver RMA!

well after a long chat with corsair, they said if a brought a corsair product in the last 2 years then I can use that as proof of purchase and rma from there. PSU has now been shipped and awaiting the arrival by scan computers, in which have corsair rma team within the company. They have said that t...

HX 1050 Silver RMA!

So I need to RMA my HX1050 as the thermistor exploded with a loud bang and spark for no reason last week. it completely destroyed the thermistor. So I login to corsair customer portal and create a ticket with them stating the issue but of course as I purchased the PSU on eBay I need the sellers orig...

Re: Shakmods 24 pin extender voltage issues.

I guess it would be hard but I checked online to see if anyone else has had similar issues to me and nothing, zip, nada. god damn it. shakmod wont even admit to it being an issue at there end as they quote "we only use quality components to insure that vdroop is minimalized". not so sure a...

Shakmods 24 pin extender voltage issues.

So as the title says, I have one of there 24 pin extenders. Been using it about 6 months and only noticed last week after having random shutdowns during gaming and even on YouTube. Found out that hwinfo was reporting +12v rail as 11-11.3v only when gpu was under load. if cpu was under load it would ...
