I don't live in the US/Canada so I'm out. The person who wins that monster of a rig will be very happy! =P~

Re: Performance platform w/ LGA1156-sneak peek of MSI P55-GD65

A nice board from MSI, but the brown PCB puts me off a bit. Why not stay with Black like the Eclipse series? :)

Re: MSI GX790-G65 HELP! Please!

I'd second RMAing it. My Eclipse originally had a problem supporting a D0 920 because it didn't have the latest BIOS, and it was flashed and flashed until it eventually died. It was RMA'ed at no cost to me through the MSI distributor (the Local PC shop was building my PC) and it was replaced and fla...

Re: Core i5/i7(Lynnfiled) vs Core i7(Bloomfield)

I'd say the 920 is being discontinued because it's too good of a match for the Core i5's which can cost more [-X It'd be best to get in early and get an i7 rig before it's too late I think. The only positive about Core i5 is the new P55 mobos coming along with it are likely to support SATA 6GBs and ...

Re: Dell vs. Home Rigs

Dell is OK if you can't be bothered building yourself or buying through a local PC store, but you'd have to buy when they are priced well otherwise you can be ripped off pretty easily. Recently at the Local comp shop down here a customer wanted to buy a custom workstation PC, but his employer kept o...

Re: Super Talent SATA II Mini 2 PCIe MLC 64GB SSD

I don't get it. If that thing is so small, how come other desktop SATA SSDs have to conform to the 2.5" standard? Wouldn't it make more sense to have more of memory chips on a larger surface area to equal more storage?

Re: July Forum Drawing - Four NZXT Gaming Products

So is this open Worldwide or not? :( I live in NZ too, and I was under the assumption NZXT Contests are usually open to the US only, otherwise I'd have given it a go. I'll post my list of preference and make some posts in case :prayer: 1. Sentry LX 2. Avatar 3. Cyro S 4. Beta I was too wondering lik...

Re: July Forum Drawing - Four NZXT Gaming Products

Been reading LR for quite a while now but I only registered today

I'd love that Sentry, but I don't live in America so I'll have to sit this one out. (NZXT seem to only ship to America)
