Just having their names listed as the winners is enough for me. ;)

Re: July 2010 Forum Drawing - Three XFX Power Supplies!

Maybe you should start putting the drawing date 2 days after the contest ends in the rules of the nExt one. It's sort of an unwritten rule around here, like gravity, or the second shooter on the grassy gnoll :) With only four posts to your name, where is "here"? And, it would be a grassy ...

Re: SilverStone Precision Series PS05 Mid-Tower PC Case Review

I smell clearance issues if you fill the case with fans. With the exception of the 3.5" drive bays this case looks very much like the Thermaltake V3 right down to the little center post that keeps your motherboard in place while you fasten it down. That is was the only good thing about the V3. ...

Re: i5-661 integrated graphics + 2x pci-e(8x) raid cards in H57,

I'm quite sure you will have to choose integrated graphics or a discrete graphics solution, not both. It's either onboard or a card regardless of the task. It's a limitation of the chipset.

Re: Zalman Z7 Computer Case

Good looking design although I'm not sold on the top mounted PSU. I like bottom mounted units so the top can be left open for an extra exhaust fan. There are very few cable management options too but tons of room for large coolers provided you leave the 2nd fan off the side. I like the fact that you...

Re: Zalman CPNS10X Performa CPU Cooler Review

My 9800GTX+ is whisper quiet. I can just start to hear it when the fan speed hits 80% but I can't recall it ever hitting that speed without me doing some sort of artifact testing and manually setting it. I think the problem is that the front fans in the Tempest are creating some sort of turbulence w...

Re: Zalman CPNS10X Performa CPU Cooler Review

I don't know, dude.

I'm running the original NZXT Tempest with all 6 fans wide open. My wife is getting tired of telling me a story while I sit there with a stunned look on my face trying to figure out if she is asking me what I want for dinner or if I can fix the leaky tap.

Good deal!

How as the sound? A lot of reviewers noted how loud it fan was at 2000 RPM.

Re: Zalman CPNS10X Performa CPU Cooler Review

Thread necro! I'm thinking of picking up one of these but I'm curious about the test results. The low setting is obviously 900RPM but the high setting is unclear. With the fan add-on connector the maximum speed is 1350 RPM but without it the maximum speed is 2000 RPM. Could you tell me which speed t...
