Re: Need Help Choosing Fans
The fans are all for the case. I have the commander MS I snow. If it helps, the case has space for a fan in the front, one at the side (just about lines up with the GPU) one at the rear close to the top and the a double space at the top. I believe there is a gap at the bottom but not interested in u...

Re: Need Help Choosing Fans
Thanks for the replies.
The reason for me picking amazon is that I have a couple of vouchers and I would like fairly quiet fans.
I will have a proper look at the suggested fans when I get home.

Need Help Choosing Fans

I found these. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00432T2JQ I want 4 or 5 fans at 120mm x 25mm I have £60 to spend maybe £65. Can anyone suggest anything better within th...

Re: New PC
That is indeed a nice GPU.
As for the dust filters I think I would need something that would span the entire fan mounting space. But thank you for the head start.

Re: New PC
the 760 is a great card but are you wanting to stay with nvidia or venture to amd? I'm no fanboy. If an AMD card will perform better and not get overly hot in the process then I'm all ears. Though saying that I do like my Gigabyte stuff. that G1 board is a great board. i wouldn't mind 1 myself. I j...

Re: New PC
Ok so after a couple of weeks of my girlfriend strangling my PC and me mucking about in virtualbox, I have decided it really is time to sort out the cooling. It's so loud under load that conversation near it is not nice. My CPU hasn't gone above 60 for a while now but the GPU hits 70 - 80. In turn m...

Re: External HD mount vs External HD
I just have the files stored on the PC. Backups on an external drive. Anything I need on another machine would be memory sticks, may start using cloud storage.

Re: Thoughts on mini USB storage
The only thing I would say is to still have a proper external drive. Flash drives are easy enough to drown or drop or even loose all together.

Re: Games, Run from SSD or Disc HD?
I tend to have all of my files on one HDD and programs games etc on the OS drive. I have always done this just for data recovering purposes. I think it would slow certain games a little having to look in a different drive. But to be honest I doubt the difference would really be noticed. Neptune24 Se...

Re: New PC
Well at least I can take the radiator out of the case and not just moved the dust from heatsink to other parts.
And I will have to look into the SSHD a bit and gain a better understanding.

Re: New PC
Hi Guys, Thanks for the advice. if your not planning on playing anything more than DoW, sims 3 and 4 then you current rig is fine tbh. However, if you really want to upgrade i would go with the intel build as the cpu is around 10-15% better in games and consumes less power saving money in the long r...

Re: PS4 or Xbox One
I too am getting neither. I like my game console to access the internet and play games, nothing more. I think that Sony have made a huge mistake not making the PS4 legacy supportive. To me that was to only real thing keeping them in the market. I will stick with the 360S, though it has touch buttons...

Re: New PC
Yes I have had the same sort of reaction elsewhere, but the processor is no where near what it used to be performance wise.
I'm not sure if I will get a new GPU yet. I will wait and see how it does with the new PC.

Again reviving a dead post but still I haven't been on here for a long time.
I found Kingsoft and I am now using that.
Infact I like it so much I have recommended it to others instead of MS office.

How to access dump files (Windows 7)
Hi Guys Very simple request today. My PC has BSODed a few times over the last couple of weeks and in order to find out what has caused the issue I need to look into the dump files that are created. How do I gain access to them?? When I copy the file path that is given it says access denied. I am an ...
