Remove the ducting...its worthless, doesn't match up with anything and simply gets in the way. I have built 4 systems for friends using this case, and everyone loves it.... without the duct. On my own system, I cut a hole in the side annd mounted a 120mm fan. On one system, I mounted a fan on the si...

Your memory is definitely going to hold you back. I haven't tried using all four slots, but my thinking is you are at 2T, which is not worth the upgrade from 1GB to 2GB. So my suggestion, first one, is to pull two of those sticks out of the system, preferably the cheap stuff.... and increase that DD...

have you downloaded the latest BF2 patches? You also might want to try to tinker with some of the settings under Control Panel, as well as download something like ATI tool.

Dragon,
List your complete system specs and we'll be glad to help as much as possible. Every system is different, and what works well for one might not for others. We should be able to at least give you an idea of where to start.

I've been busy with other things. I've tried everything imaginable.....without success. Its hard for me to recommend a company or a product that has so many issues and such horrible customer service/tech support.

The only board that supports the dual SLI x16 is the ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe...... and it looks to be a sweet board....trouble is trying to find one without paying twice what its worth is damn near impossible. The memory is probably the Corsair 3500LLPRO that I've been playing with for the past week.....

Nah, DFI has made a big stink this last week about how the Opty is a server proceessor and not supported by their desktop boards. Most everyone I've talked to said they seem to work okay, but they all have small issues where the chip isn't ID'ed right or it won't O/C, etc.

you're right......after all, we didn't earn the name "PC Abusers" for nothing, lol. you have to figure whenever you run a component above-spec you need to anticipate a shorter product life. Mass production has its irregularities regardless of how accurate any company states their process ...

The people reporting bad ram modules are mostly the guys running that PC4000 stuff around 300FSB with no cooling and overvolting up to 3V.... Its great that ram O/Cs so well, but the fact of the matter is that ram, like a proc or board is only guaranteed to its rated speed....you can't blame a compa...

thats a great point Nails, and something I think people overlook when they are shopping for headphones. I love the 155s because they are so comfortable for long periods of gaming, while still providing great sound. As far as "Surround Sound" or 5.1, I've got a pair of 5.1 headphones, and t...
