Re: New system

Have you tried removing your storage drives/optical drives and clearing the CMOS? The lighting control should work without the OS drive on there. If that doesn't work then I'd recover the UEFI with Q-Flash. If you need to force the board to use the backup BIOS you can always manually do that - http:...

Re: New system

Not good on the LED lighting. I'm sure you already know all this, but just to double check. The latest BIOS for the Gigabyte AB350-Gaming 3 motherboard is F23d - https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/GA-AB350-Gaming-3-rev-1x#support-dl-driver Odd you can't change the LED lights in the BIOS. Never ...

Re: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX Processor Review

I think it was the heatsinks on the motherboard (VRM), but when you manually turn off the power regulation and overclock the 2990WX... Sutff starts popping and making all sorts of fun noises. Never ever had that happen. I've had PSUs scream under heavy load, but never pops from the board.

Re: Intel SSD 660p 1TB SSD Review With QLC NAND Flash

I don't think other drives will drop in price much because EVERYONE is going to be releasing QLC drives. QLC drives will be good for mainstream drives, but they are not for power users or enthusiasts just yet. 96-layer QLC NAND is coming here shortly and that is where QLC will really take off I thin...

How Quick Is The Netgear RMA / Warranty Process in 2018?

Most review sites don’t cover the RMA process, but trying to get a consumer electric device repaired or replaced under warranty can truly be a painful experience and is something we like to cover. We recently had a Netgear Nighthawk X8 AC5300 Smart WiFi Router give up the ghost when it got stuck in ...

yeah, that isn't good. Keep an eye on those temps. If you can fit the H115i PRO that is the model to get. I have the H100i Pro, H115i Pro and H150i Pro and the H115i Pro is what I put back on my Coffee Lake test system. It's so quiet versus the H105 that I've been running for 4-years on all the test...
