I love people that vent there frustrations in a forum then provide the solution themselves! It's helped me a lot while learning all this new fangle computer stuff. Glad you found a fix and hope tons of folks benefit from it. :drinkers:

Um, because they're rocking the lower price points again! :supz:

But yeah, if you're already looking to spend that much and you plan to overclock you'll be happier with Intel.

Re: Looking for the rest of my water cooling...

Those full cover GPU blocks seem like a good idea but all they actually do is add flow restriction and heat from the ram to the loop. Get a block that just covers the core and grab a few VGA ramsinks. You'll be glad you did both on the performance front and when you get a new GPU down the line.

I second VLC. It's all I use for media on my windows PCs and it's even used as the backend for my prefered music player (songbird). I even have VLC portable on my flash drive to use from anywhere.

Great program that does one thing and does it well, play media files. :drinkers:

Right click the launcher>Properties>Type>Application in Terminal

Now it will start in the terminal so you can see if there are error messages. If you're still having issues post the Launcher Command you're using and a fahlog.

Oh noes! ...Does this mean Legit Reviews Forums is being watched by the FBI? *goes to get tin-foil hat*

If owning a few guns and some ammo makes you a rightwing extremist, then I know quite a few 'rightwing extremists' that are actually bleeding-heart liberals. Tell me that isn't irony.

Re: Looking for the rest of my water cooling...

Swiftech makes great pumps, if you have the room for it the Swiftech 655 is a great.high pressure low noise pump (I know Skipp and Dan both run one). The Swiftech 350 is a lot smaller but you must buy a aftermarket top for results close to 655 (I currently have the 355 which is a higher watt version...

Not really a suggestion so much as an observation but I'm not sure I see the need for 2 pumps, just make sure you have the pumps rpm sensor plugged into the cpu header on the mobo and you should be fine.

I still say you'd probably be ok with a thin coat of vinyl dye but those are pretty expensive fans to be taking those chances with. Looking really good, can't wait to see it done!

Have you looked into the Swiftech GTZ? After a lot of looking around it seems to outperform pretty much everything else. Also, even though it's a couple months out of date, there is a lot of great info here ...RIP martinsliquidlab BTW, if you want a great example of how not to run your lines, check ...
