Well last night at 2am I was finishing up the overclocking section on the Asus P4P800S-E motherboard and saw a BIOS setting for 275FSB/550MHz Memory. I was like WTF let's give this a try. (Early yesterday I got in XMS 4400) So I used a brand new 512mb module of XMS 4400 at 2.85vDimm and "plugge...

Shameless,

Since we have had the card for less than a week we have not had a chance to utilize many of the HDTV features that are present on this card. We will of course address this and let you know more as we figure it all out. New technology brings a bunch of new stuff to learn ;)

A new kid is on the block and it looks good for being pre-release! It all depends on how the drivers turn out! I hope S3's driver team can nail them down. Always good to see an up and coming product! I also wanted to note our testing was pretty light and this is because we only have had the card sin...

Ed,

How do you want to run your system? Tight timings and lower MHz or Lose timings and higher 1:1 speeds? Once you figure that out your sea of choices quickly narrows down to a couple!

Thanks for the nice comments and am glad someone is making use of my hours in front of the test bench ;)

Well I'd personally try a few things. 1) Update the motherboard BIOS BIOS version F12 is out (2002/11/5) it is located RIGHT HERE . I would make sure you have your system updated to this BIOS. 2) Uninstall and remove the old ATI 3.7 files 3) Reboot and install the new ATI 3.9 Cats If you are using a...
