Re: Newegg gives state customers past sales info ....

Transcript? I hate when people post a video without a transcript!!!!!! I don't want to waste my limited bandwidth watching something that I could read in a few paragraphs. And it's 9 frakking minutes! Ugh. So here is the blurb on the video... This segment will appear on tomorrow's wrapup but I wanted...

Re: Corsair Obsidian 500D Premium Mid-Tower Case Review

I think he said it because more and more cases are not including the bays so you have to use external. Like laptops. I have my old Dell 1645 that I got with a bluray drive. I cant find hardly any laptops that have bluray anymore so if it goes belly up I would need to get an external one. Companies ...

Re: Budget Mining On The Radeon RX 560, Radeon RX 550 and GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

Yep it does make sense man! If I could afford a new system with high end video cards, I would be mining too. Just the extreme cost of making any sort of decent money is out of reach right now and the low end of things doesn't seem worth the wear and tear on the other pieces of my computer. Article o...

Re: Corsair Obsidian 500D Premium Mid-Tower Case Review

I use external USB now for ripping movies :( You say this with a Sad Face, why is that? Is ripping and storage a bad thing(to you) or a good thing? I think he said it because more and more cases are not including the bays so you have to use external. Like laptops. I have my old Dell 1645 that I got...

Re: Budget Mining On The Radeon RX 560, Radeon RX 550 and GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

Cryptocurrency prices are down right now, but these cards are looking at turning in a revenue of about $1 per day before electric expenses $30 a month before electric costs....no, just no LOL. Now if there is one that can run on an old core i7 cpu or super low end gpu (gtx660 or 650) and bring in a...

Re: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G and Ryzen 3 2200G CPU Reviews

Seems like a nice cheap solution for lower to mid end gaming but really disappointed in the video conversion / media speeds. They are cheap processors so a little give and take on performance has to be expected I guess. And what in the hell is up with memory pricing. I thought it was going to be hea...

Re: Does anyone here mine Cryptocurrency with nvidia cards

Wish crypto miners would stop using video cards. Cost of cards are flat !@#$% ridiculous. Combined with the cost of RAM lately... ](*,) I agree but they seem to be the fastest way for people to mine :( I won't spend the money on video cards to mine just because I dont want to end up getting stuck w...

Re: Looking into new water cooler!

I have a Thermaltake Water 2.0 on my old core i7-3770K and it has been rock solid for all these years. Recently started having a bit of trouble with one of the fans not wanting to get going but kicking it to high speed and then back down makes it purr along (kind of like me as I get older lol). The ...

If you are willing to put in a LOT of work, it could be if you have the right material.

You will also need a bunch of help if you don't want to work 23 hours in a day.

Re: DELAYING desktop screen after login in Win7x64

It could be. I know Microsoft started putting getting into Windows ahead of pre-loading items. I would think the hard drive might be the biggest slow down. try a small SSD if you have one lying around and see how it goes. Should be an easy clone the drive situation so should not take a lot of your t...

Re: ASUS Rebates

I hate rebates. They do them hoping most people will forget or not bother and the ones that do have to wait forever to get their money back, which makes them think not to bother for the next time, so why even bother with rebates just put it on sale!

Disable it and set it to the standard IDE/whatever your bios has and try installing again.

Re: Win7 32 to 64?

Thinking about the xp problem on the ssd - could it be the bios setting for the drive being set to the (oh my god brain fart.....ummmmm) AHCI rather than the regular IDE? Did XP work with AHCI? Trying my friend, I am trying :partyman: With MS telling you to stuff it, yea, they want everyone on 10. 1...

Re: Still Rocking The i7 2600k

My rule was below 60C if possible but not above 70C. I haven't overclocked in a while just because I don't have a reason to. That processor could run a day or 10 years, there is no way to know. I am taking it those temps are at full load. Maybe turn up your cooling solution in the summer a bit if it...

Re: Win7 32 to 64?

No idea why your key did not work when you installed as it should, unless there were major hardware changes. You are going to have to wipe the drive . I do not see a way around this. Unless you stick with 32bit and 4gb. Of course I could always be wrong but everything I have read says you need to do...
