Re: XFX Radeon HD 5830 Video Card Review
wow surprised how small the difference is between it and the 5750, doesn't look to be a whole lot better than the 5770 and nowhere near 57xx crossfire You mean the 5770. Yea the 5770 is a better buy imo. Much cheaper while taking a not-so-big performance hit. This week, there was two seperate deals...

No need to take it down, but some editing should be done in order to make it more like a Legit Reviews review. Maybe state that it was a rushed review?

@Major. Are you directing that at me? If you are, HawX is actually a NVIDIA optimized game.
After talking to some reviewers, it seems that the GTX 470 does beat the ATI 5870 in terms of heavy tessellation.

Re: Zotac GeForce GTX 470 Video Card Review
Thanks for your reply Gomeler. Now after reading all the comments, I got a few things I want to say. 1. This review should be done with more games and not benchmarks. I have learned that those benchmarks are only good for putting up numbers and give you a general idea of a GPU's performance. It can ...

Re: Zotac GeForce GTX 470 Video Card Review
Wth? The GTX 470 destroyed the 5870? Is that even possible? All the reviews I've seen thus far, the GTX 470 is on par with the 5870 or its faster by a bit.
On your test configuration page, it says a XFX GTX 470 was used.

Re: MSI Big Bang XPOWER Intel X58 Motherboard Review
Depending on how this board is priced, I might get one for my backup system. I've had a few MSI boards in the past that I liked allot. :) But if its too much on the far side of $300 I'll probably go with an EVGA X58 FTW3, or an Asus P6x58D Premium. It is being priced at $299 when it hits the egg ne...

It should automatically backup the WU. I haven't used Linuxrouter's image in a long time so I don't remember, but I remember it does backup at somepoint of folding.KnightRid wrote:nope - it should do it automatically if it was a good program ;)geokilla wrote:Don't you guys ever backup the WU..

Made a big mistake last night. Was cleaning my rig and turned off my rig by mistake and lost 98% of a bigadv work unit #-o You don't have your client set to automatically backup your WU? I believe there's a way to do that. This is assuming you're using Linuxrouter's build. It's been a rough month f...

I'm against the K models. It's not like they're that much better at overclocking. I'd rather spend that $40 on a ATI 5870.

Not a fan of SSDs so I wouldn't recommend them.
Have you taken a look at the WD Black hard drives? Last I checked (few months ago), they were the fastest 7200RPM hard drives available. And even if you do stick with the Seagate Barracuda, wasn't there the 7200.12 models?
