At 200$ I bet they won't sell too many! I'd rather get 4x 1GB of Crucial Ballistix for like 150$!

Re: PNY XLR8 D22GX93XLP-5 (DDR2 1173) Memory Review

Re: M3A32-MVP VISTA-64 Ultimate Install Problem
I am expecting my copy of Vista 64 today or tomorrow and then I can test and see what my results with it will be on the board. I know that Nate has had some issues with the 790 chipset, Phenom and Vista 64 as well. I would strip it all down to basics and start from there: 1. Use Memtest to test your...

Re: IP35-E not turning on
The first thing I would try would be a different power supply. The only time I have had known working parts with a board that will not boot it has been an incompatible motherboard. Not saying that is it for sure, but it would be my first guess.

Well, seems like a wase of money to me... might as well get the 512mb version at that price point. Maybe if they drop it to $150 it might become interesting.

You are a braver man than I am. I actually would not mind taking my MBP apart, but it voids the warranty for the notebook.

Re: Apple to force dual booters to upgrade os?
you can stick with Tiger and run the Beta. On the other hand, maybe Apple should not have released it as a Beta at all, and just waited for the new OS to release, but then we would not have anything to complain about. Once again, this has been known for a while, so there is no justification to cry ...

Re: Apple to force dual booters to upgrade os?
Have they made some bad moves? Maybe, but consider this: Apple did offer those that bought a Mac within about 30 days a free upgrade. It has also been known for a long time when the OS would be released, so those that bought and cried should have known better. There has to be a cut off somewhere. Do...

Take a moment today to remember the events that took place six years ago today. It does not matter where you are politically, our nation suffered something that we hopefully will never have to re-live.
