Personally I would avoid the seagate. This is very anecdotal but we have had far more Seagate drives die on us lately than WD ones at work. Since you arent switching chip types you have decent odds of it working. You may want to run a sysprep though, just removing the drivers doesnt always work where sysprep is sorta designed for exactly this.
