Re: BitFenix Unleashes The Prodigy mini-ITX PC Case
At $79 I am highly interested in this case. Most the little cubes like this I have been looking at are Lian Li's and north of $130, and I would still have to cut on them. BitFenix could have a hot little case on their hands. I was thinking that this is a sharp case as well, almost makes me want to ...

LAN game suggestions
A couple of friends and I are getting together for a small LAN this weekend, and are looking for some new games to play. They don't have to be the latest titles but something new to play around with. We typically play the same few games everytime and I'm getting a little bored with them. Our typical...

Re: Intel Ivy Bridge Processors Now Available To Purchase
For whatever reason, I'm just not that jazzed about Ivy Bridge. Yeah, I kinda agree. If I was in the market to upgrade to lga1155 from say 1366 or 775 then I would get an Ivy Bridge chip since it is the latest technology. Having a 2600K there really isn't any point to upgrade to Ivy Bridge. Working...

Re: Any Linux users out there?
I've wanted to start playing with Linux for the last couple of years, but between work, my reviews, and my kid, I have very little free time to do that. It's in the to-do list, but who knows when that will happen

Re: GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H WiFi & GA-Z77X-UD3H Mobo Reviews
Bottom line... Z68 -> Z77 worth the upgrade? Seems like there's a lot of small stuff that was updated. And a quick look at the Egg shows Z77 aren't that much more expensive than a Z68 board. If you are building a new system, I would go with Z77. If you are already using a Z68 motherboard, it's not ...

Would have been interesting to see what happened
when you turned on Physx.
Finally made Metro playable at 19x10, that's about it; the rest, way overkill.

Re: Bonus is in soooo a GTX 680 or an AMD 7970?
Personally, I'm still debating if I need/want a 680. I ordered one on launch day, it came in on tuesday and it's still sitting in the box. Honestly debating about throwing it up on ebay, my gtx 570 is doing just fine. Don't get to game much anymore these days anyway

Re: Intel CPU Scaling on an AMD Radeon HD 7950 Video Card
I have all the data still, I will take a look at the minimums/maximums once I get down to my office tonight. I was honestly surprised how well the pentium chips and i3 chips did. I didn't expect that at all to be honest.

Intel Q6600, ASUS Maximus Formula, 4GB GSkill PC2 6400

Re: MSI Big Bang XPower II Motherboard Review
Usually extra power connections are closer to the PCIe connections. I figured it was for more power but it seems like an odd place to put it. Wow, how did I skip over that... But you guys are right, that is to supply extra power to the PCIe cards. The advantage to having the plug over here comes ma...

Have you tried disconnecting the power and the battery? Doing that will clear the CMOS, I usually leave it disconnected/removed for a few minutes while periodically holding the power button down to make sure all the caps have been discharged.
