Re: Crucial V4 256GB SATA II SSD Review

A little torn on this one. For only forty bucks more you can get the M4 256Gb SATA 6Gbps drive. Personally I think I would go with the faster SATA 6Gbps drive while planning on upgrading the rest of the system one day. Kinda curious how the M4 would compare to the V3 if it were plugged into the SATA...

Re: Kingston HyperX Predator 8GB 2666MHz DDR3 Memory Kit Rev

Wow, that's a hell of a price jump from the 2400MHz kit to the 2666MHz kit! I would likely get the 2400MHz kit if I were looking for memory though, not sure the $121 and 266MHz is worth it to me. But for $67 I would certainly get the 2400MHz Predators.

No, if I remember correctly everything seemed to work fine. But that was 5 months ago and I can barely remember yesterday :) I'll see what I can dig up though.

Re: P8Z77-V no POST, BIOS or signals

Is the BIOS upto date? Did the BIOS get corrupted. ASUS has a BIOS Flashback feature that you can use to flash the board. Pull everything but the psu, and use this technique. You will have to check the manual for the exact procedure and location of the flashback button on your board. Worth a shot

Re: bad idea?

All depends if it's under warranty. If it is, I would just RMA it. If not, make sure it's drained and pop it open. I did it once on an old psu, swapped the fan and plugged one into a 4pin molex

Single 120mm Radiator. If you got one laying around ping me with what you want for it and what it is. Would rather send you some bucks than to a company :)

F/S EVGA GTX 680 and a Intel 3930K LGA2011 Processor

Hey all, I bought an EVGA GTX 680 when they first launched and have used it a whopping 3-4 times. I was gonna build this big ol' rig water cool it all. I have changed my mind and going small form factor. So my loss is your gain. As the title says I have an EVGA GTX 680 and an Intel Core i7 3930k. (W...

Re: EVGA Z77 FTW Intel Z77 Motherboard Review

I like the bowl of ice water experiment. I bet if you put a small pump in the bowl to keep the water moving (turbulent) then it would work even better. Way to think "outside the box". I really like this board even though I doubt I'd ever run more than 1 video card, let alone 3. Kind of a ...

I would start running memtest on each stick of memory and see if it throws errors. Could be bad DIMMs or slots

Re: Facebook Friday - Fractal Design Define XL PC Case!

Hey All The case came in last week, but I've had a hectic time with the kids out of school so I was just now able to get it unpacked to take a looky-loo. When it arrived I was a tad disappointed to see "Titanium Grey" marked on the outside of the box, but when I unpacked it today it did i...
