I increased the multi to 19 so I am running at 3.7 and it did help in the situation where 10+ bad guys spawn all at once. I guess with "quiet cool" it took a micro sec. for the CPU to increase its speed. With the OC set its at 3.7 quad all the time ts all smoother.

Is there a utility that "records" CPU load or usage accross all 4 cores that I can look at after playing a game for a bit? It would be nice if I could boot up Diablo 3 and play for a while and then look at the numerical data for my GPU, CPU, and RAM. Then I could tweak the settings and pla...

I have the 955 black and I was just wondering...how can I tell if speeding up the CPU will actually result in better overall performance?? file recovery

I downloaded Active file recovery and am running it to try to recover lost data on an old drive. I started the scan last night at around 11 pm and its only 47% complete as of 2:20 pm. Does that sound right for a quad core PCU with 8 gig of ram to take that long?

i know this goes in another thread heading but its the MOBO i was asking about here....how worried should i be about a tiny bit of thermal paste getting on the CPU pins??

So they actually sell Bud in Ireland?? say it aint so!!
Back to computers. So to upgrade this MOBO i use driver sweeper to erase the chipset and other drivers then shut it down install and thats it? Or are there a few things I should do first??

cool thanks....one day I would love to visit Ireland and have a "real" beer. I brew my own but I bet its not the same as what I would get in a real Irish pub.

driver cleaner

I looked over the links o plenty thread but I was wondering if anyone could recommend a utility to erase the drivers for a current MOBO in preparation for installing a new one...chipset audio etc.

I am upgrading my brothers system for him and that is his PSU. He has a limited budget so I was hoping to get him gaming again without needing a new PSU.

so if the card can run with one why do they even make them with two? The PSU my brother has only has one PCI-E 6 pin plug so I need a card that it can push.
