Kingston does do TSOP designs, but they are all unbuffered and non-ECC Exactly what I was getting at in my post above. Kingston actually is looking at some new changes in their HyperX line that might cause a revamp of some of their products. I am not sure about their Reg HyperX, but as you noted th...

Psychosis, When speaking of Reg PC-3200 memory Kingston does not currently make a TSOP HyperX module so a BGA versus TSOP HyperX review can not be done. Corsair was indeed running BH-5's on their 3500 as well as Kingston on their initial HyperX 3500 modules. I have both Corsair and Kingston with BH-5's right here on the shelf. I've seen some Mushkin with BH-5's also, but don't have any of those sitting here.

I don't thinkj you are too late to get an unlocked one. Smaller shops that do less volume will have the older unlocked ones. Just got to look around a little bit. Try to get one if you can!

When using SATA in Intel 865/875 you NEED to manually set the PCI / IDE controllers to 66/100 instead of leaving it on auto.
Yup... we fixed it and never leave it on auto.

We have posted our review of the PCChips EZ Watcher 3060 Barebone System. Was pretty fun to build and use this system. Good choice for someone looking for a small compact unit and is not worried about video game perfomance! Here is a blurb: "The EZ-Watcher allows the end user to adjust the CPU ...
