Wireless Mouse and Keyboard needs

Hey everyone! I'm installing a projector and surround sound system in my bedroom and plan on using my computer as the input device. My computer will be located in my closet, so I'll need a wireless mouse and keyboard capable of communicating through a wall and from about 20 feet away. I've looked at a couple of RF options and even a wifi mouse but nothing really jumped out at me. Any suggestions?

I really love my bluetooth keyboards/mice from Microsoft. The keyboard has a built in (kind of) touchpad so you dont have to use the mouse, so you dont need a surface to sit it on.

I can not say how well it works through walls but being bluetooth it should get 20'

If you need more range run a cheapo USB 2.0 extension cord so you can place the dongle closer to you.

I think (could be wrong there) you can run up to 50 feet of USB cable before you need a repeater.

Thanks for the ideas guys. i think I'm going to go with an extended USB cable so i can keep my existing keyboard.
