It funny that they were informed of the hack by law enforcement officials, don't they have some security measures in place?A popular crowdfunding platform Kickstarted has been hacked. Hackers were able to access a database that contained usernames, email addresses, mailing addresses, phone numbers, and encrypted passwords. According to the site, no credit card information had been stolen.
Kickstarter said that they were informed of the hack Wednesday by law enforcement officials, but waited four days to alert customers until they’d “thoroughly investigated the situation.”
