help

Post by Merlin »

I am trying to re-install Windows 7 over the top of an existing install. I selected the boot from disk option in bios and made sure the mouse and keyboard USB were enabled.
The install sticks at the language selection screen...mouse and keyboard appear unresponsive. They do light up...the num lock light will flash and the laser in the mouse will flash but
thats all...any ideas anyone?

unplug the keyboard and mouse from the motherboard ports and plug them into the ports on the case itself.

Sounds goofy but that s what I read online lol

Isnt it strange how things like this work. Always amazes me! I would think it should work better in the motherboard ports but nooooooooo
