New GPU Already!

so I have recently brought a gtx 580 to go with my current gtx 580 and I do get great performance but at a heavy cost of heat and wattage. so I saw a gtx 980 going for £330 that really got my attention as the cheapest after that is £400. would the gtx 980 be a good upgrade of my current 580 sli?

Is the GTX580 SLI setup causing issues in any of your game titles?

i get stutter badly in games but that's to bo expected. also I can't max out games like I hoped I could with these cards. dyling light at max I get 50fps in combat intense situations and 38fps for crysis 3 and 41fps for battlefield 4. however I got a healthy tax rebate which burnt a nice hole in my pocket so I went ahead and got this. please don't hate

Sweet! That should hopefully cure that stutter!

Going from a GTX 580 to a GTX 980 will be a huge and I mean huge improvement in everything from power, noise, heat, performance... oh baby!

well I get a 40%-50% increase in fps across most games. and in some benchmarks I get almost twice the score. so maybe my sli wasn't working to well and I was losing a lot of performance.
