Because our Editor-in-Chief, Nathan Kirsch was way too cheap to provide any of his writers with iPhones, and Apple has not gotten around to sending out a review sample to Legit Reviews (Hello, Apple?!?!)

Ha! if you tell me Nate sent you an iPhone, I'll be on the next plane to try and arm wrestle you for it!

On a side note, I think I helped Apple sell at least two pairs of these headsets while I was conducting my "research" in the local Apple store. People were asking me what shelf I got the headphones from, and how was I able to take them out of the package and use them, etc. Kinda funny.

I know this is off topic, but is there any chance that LR could get some skullcandy headphones to challange the vibes? I've yet to see somewhere that has reviewed both (admittedly I haven't looked very hard) but it would be cool if LR could get hold of some and see which one is better.

LOL... glad we have a higher standard than that!! lol... I know it said CNet on that article... but how can that be reputable? They don't even show a picture!

I hope V-Moda is pissed about that one if they sent them a sample!

That is pretty sucky amount of work written if they did get to keep the review sample.

Seeing this kind of stuff makes me wonder what the companies and PR firms are looking for...is it that C|Net has that much more traffic that they don't care about the actual content that is presented?

I like the way we do things around here...

Many people had complained that they were going to stay away from this headset since it didn't have a "call control button". Since we really didn't have the chance to do a full-fledge review with an iPhone, we really didn't notice this and didn't highlight it in our review. I can certainly understand people's reluctance to purchase this product because of this omission.

Today, V-Moda announced that they would be releasing another version of the VIBE DUO - this time with a call control button.

wow... impressive that they took the criticism and did something about it in a very short period of time... You don't see companies listening to there customers this well these days. Thumbs up to V-Moda.

Yeah, I'm hoping to get a sample sent our way to take a closer look.....as well as an iPhone to play with, er, evaluate!
