Kingston USB 2.0 Hi-Speed 19-in-1 Media Reader

Nothing goes better with digital media than an external reader for your desktop or laptop at home or on the road. Kingston's Media Reader opens a direct gateway between your digital media and a USB port by simply using expandable storage cards to move photos, music, data and more between devices and eliminating the need to carry cables to connect multiple devices. Read on to see how the new Kingston 19-in-1 media reader performs compared to previous generations!

The new Kingston 19-in-1 Reader with our 8GB 266x Compact Flash card is significantly faster than the previous Kingston readers. The Kingston 19-in-1 reader was found to be 71% faster than the Kingston 15-in-1 reader when it came to read speeds and 57% faster at write speeds. This just goes to show that if you have purchased newer hi-speed memory cards in recent years and have not upgraded your card reader that an upgrade might be due.

Wow, that is so much nicer than my $5 12-in-1 reader from Fry's... and the price is pretty tempting as well... 8) Great review!

Kingston is offering an instant $2 rebate from their listed site shopping price from what is shown on the PriceGrabber linky.

My old Epson card reader died a while back, so getting something new that performs well would be a bonus. This device would fit the ticket well.
