Article Title: E3 2008: Opening Day CoverageIn the past hardware companies such as Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, Dell, and Logitech have participated, but with ESA’s downsizing of the event, such hardware manufacturers are missing and frankly it worries us. There has been a trend in gaming the past few years of PC hardware being put on the back burner with software publishers and a very strong migration toward consoles. Think about the major gaming releases of 2008 (Metal Gear Solid 4, Halo 3, Grand Theft Auto IV, Super Mario Galaxy) and we see none of them were developed for the PC platform.
