Last week AMD organized a small overclocking event for a group of overclockers from North America. Hosted at AMD's facility in Austin, Texas, the event was arranged to match competitive overclockers with the best silicon coming out of AMD's fabs in hopes of breaking some records and possibly hitting 7GHz.

You go and check out 6th Street Gomeler? I've lived in Houston all my life and have only been to Austin twice. Once when I was a kid and the last time a few years ago. After hearing all the hype of 6th Street I have to say it didn't live up to it. Before they ripped apart Main Street here in Houston (for a stupid light rail system link to retarded rail system) there were more/better bars than on 6th Street.

We honestly didn't have any spare time. The only downtime we had that wasn't sleeping was a 3 hour stint for dinner and watching Terminator Salvation. They worked us like dogs :axe:

That stinks, 6th Street is what made Austin famous (minus the live music and overall "wierdness").
