A much better alternative to the stock SSDs. Do you know if they are going to be releasing a half-length card for the Dell Minis (i.e. Dell Mini 9)?

The bad thing about the Dell Mini 9 is that is have been discontinued right? I thought I heard it was EOL the other day.

Let's play the what if game here. What if I took out my mini PCIe wireless card in my 1000HA would I be able to use this as a primary HDD?

I don't get it. If that thing is so small, how come other desktop SATA SSDs have to conform to the 2.5" standard? Wouldn't it make more sense to have more of memory chips on a larger surface area to equal more storage?

If I remember correctly, no, its not upgradable.

It's the JMicron 602 controller... So the firmware is not end-user upgradeable and since it's a first gen controller it will not support TRIM (ever).
