Cooler Master CM690 II Advanced Midtower Case Review

Overall, I really like the CM690 II Advanced. It is very easy to work in and on. The ability to remove items from the case that are not needed or to make room for things like dual radiators without cutting up a perfectly good case is a really big plus. The ability to use multiple 120mm or 140mm fans, and combinations thereof, to cool the case is a big plus. I also really liked the overall look of the case. It has simple lines and not an in your face aggressive design, but more blending in and not look out of place in my living room.

Looks like a nice case. Something I would buy. Just give me a cpu cutout that works! WTF! Don't they test their products. I would not be so nice to the companys if they can't put out a product that lives up to specs. I don't want hear if's but's or maybe's. Just fix the issue before it is released. Don't they (companys) test their product. If so, they should give a heads up on what motherboard works and doesn't. My Lian Li b25f has the same issue with the cpu cutout. We need a standard for what motherboards work with each case. I just want to be informed before I buy. Is that asking to much?

Great review as usual :)

Shane mentioned "the funky position of the socket is not like most on the market" and the cutout is indeed fine with most other boards ;)

the cutout seems to be catered to LGA775(being farther to the top of the case)
