Gigabyte GHOST M8000X Gaming Mouse Review

This mouse comes packed with features, including a record breaking resolution of 6000dpi, a surface sensing Pro-Laser, and 7 buttons with a total of 9 programmable, making this a great deal for any gamer.

It's not every day that we review peripherals here at Legit Reviews, but today we are looking at the newest entry to Gigabyte's line of of mice and accessories, the M8000X performance gaming mouse. Sporting an ultra high resolution of 6000dpi, and a unique 32KB GHOST engine which stores all settings and macros onboard this looks like one promising mouse.

not bad..I rather think it's a knock off of the CM sentinel(I'm biased I know :lol: ) but not bad.

Good review, and pretty decent little mouse too!

Side note though, I wish PR would have proofread their slides cause GHOST is misspelled in the last slide on the first page of the review :lol:

theres actually a bunch misspelled on the box too :lol:

you'd be amazed how many PR's have typos... Not that LR's articles are perfect, but when million dollar companies can't spell right it makes us look better.

And at least articles can be fixed, but a slide? You know there's probably the ONE guy who was tasked to do those slides and he's face-palming right now

The problem lies in its lubrication, and can easily be fixed temporarily by using it very heavily rolling it back and forth for a few seconds. This quick fix only lasts for about 10hrs. I have yet to take the mouse apart to look at how the wheel is attached and if it can be repaired permanently with better grease, but I will update in the forum post when I do.

You'd have to ask Skier that one as I didn't do this review or ever use this mouse!

i still use this as my primary gaming mouse(and havn't installed the GHOST app since i reviewed it lol still use the same settings/profiles)

after a couple weeks the squeek etc. went away entirely. :)
