Rosewill Thor XL-ATX Full Tower Gaming Case Review

In the PC building community we're all enthusiasts, and no matter how much time you spend building, you always end up needing more space to build in. Rosewill is a company here to answer that need you have. Their recently released Thor case is an XL-ATX tower able to support the extra large motherboards like the EVGA X58 Classified 4-way SLI, Gigabyte 890FXA-UD7 and others. This XL-ATX case enters a rank in terms of size that few other cases venture to, so let's see if it can hold up to the competition and rise above the rest.

Hi sir Apoptosis. Rosewill's Thor is pretty similar to Aerocool's X Predator, why is it?

Here's the Aerocool X Predator:

Looks like both are from the same ODM with minor differences in color and the door and so on.

They both are; Rosewill actually has a UL listing which leads this case back to Xigmatek's parent company.

It's not uncommon for this to happen in the case world. Especially with any of the steel cases that have snap on plastic pieces on the exterior as those are the easiest to manufacture, retool, and change.

Very few case companies actually own a factory to make cases in for that matter. Most of them just do contract work.

Looks like this case is not Watercool friendly. 10 expansion slots is a plus point.

Any of the Thin radiators like the Black Ice SR1, Swiftech's, or XSPC RS series rads should work without a problem. I only have a 480mm RAD but the measured space up top was plenty for a thin/slim rad and 2 fans.
