NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Ethereum Mining Performance

Postby Apoptosis » Fri Nov 03, 2017 8:56 am

Ethereum’s Byzantium Hard Fork is over and now the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti graphics card has been released. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti is an interesting card for cryptocurrency fans as has 512 more CUDA cores than the GeForce GTX 1070 and still uses GDDR5 memory. When mining Ethereum the speed and latency of the memory subsystem is the most important piece of the silicon.

So how is it for gaming performance? Worth the extra money over the 1070 or the same as mining, stick with the regular 1070?

I still want to do a solar powered computer setup and then mine on it! Although it would take 20 years to recoup the cost lol

1070 Ti is great for gaming. My review numbers on that card are done, but my 3 year old ran off with my notebook with all the 1070 stock numbers and some others, so I have to re-do several cards. Here is a chart of my numbers to hold you over until the full review is over.

On another note... Newegg has a free riser card today after rebate. You'll be out a postage stamp, but it's a good deal.
