I know this is an old post but since we're on to season 3 I thought I'd get everyone's impressions. I have to say that the show is getting better. I do wish they would occasionally test drive a car (similar to one of the UK guys at the beginning of an episode). Starting out I thought the only guy that was worth a damn was Tanner. Now he's easily the most annoying of the 3. What are your thoughts?

I agree... I've enjoyed the two episodes this year and so does the wife.

I just wish they would do something like this - http://autos.yahoo.com/news/the-world-s ... ce-2-.html

I would love to take a turn in each of these:

Lamborghini Aventador,
Nissan GT-R Black Edition,
Ford Shelby GT500,
McLaren MP4-12C,
Jaguar XKR-S,
Porsche 911 Carrera S,
Subaru BRZ,
Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series
Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

I would like them to build and test drive some of these: http://rallyfighter.com/ Now that would make a great show!

So a vette motor on a custom frame for $74,900.... I'd pass

Just take a used wrangler, put it on a custom chassis and drop in a vette crate motor ;) You'd have basically the same thing for half the price

I liked the US version from the start, now they have gotten used to one another it is just getting better.

I also watch these two guys that write for HOT ROD magazine YouTube channel, they call it Roadkill. Some the shows are funny and pointless, but guess that is what make them good. One episode they did a full engine swap in the parking lot on Summit parts store..
