Packaging gone goofy

I must admit, I'm not much for the green movement. But...I just did a bunch of upgrading of computers in the last couple of weeks. 2 motherboards, 6 video cards, 2 HDs, 8 fans, 2 CPUs, yada..yada. I get in the video cards....and the packaging is just nuts. The boxes are BIGGER than the 2 motherboard boxes. I mean...really...I emptied out one of the boxes and got all six cards IN 1 BOX. The didn't quite fit, but the box only needed to be about 1/4 inch longer. I know marketing is the reason, but come on. Just keeping these boxes is annoying becaause of the room they take up. I think the vid card companies could make these things MUCH smaller and save a bunch of trees and transportation costs. There is my rant for this week.
