now thats funny and true. my friend just got one for his bday from his GF. he was over the moon to then find that you can only really use it online. it works offline but you can't really do anything. any of the apps require you to be online to even intialize :(

Lost count of how many times I have been asked about Chromebooks... Usually starts out "hey there is this really inexpensive laptop I ran across can you tell me if it will play my kids games ok?"
