Report: Scientists cure burping sheep

BERLIN, Germany (Reuters) -- Scientists have developed a serum to reduce methane gas in burping sheep, cows and other ruminants to combat global warming, a German magazine reported Monday.

Australia's CSIRO Institute, has found a vaccine that reduced the methane emissions of sheep by eight percent.

hum... I can think of a few humans that can use a methane vaccine... HAHA

It is a good pickup line if your hitting on peacecorps girls

As to the importance animal emmisions is one of the largest contributers to greenhouse gasses and climate change. if this stuff works it could help aleviate the amount of greenhouse gasses produced on livestock farms. Any thing thats good for the enviorment is good for us too.

just a thought.... but that is nature, I think instead of altering nature and how it works, maybe we should alter our lifestyles and how we work

Are you crazy??!!!! How bout I just eat the sheep and try not to expel gas? Soves two problems.
My meaning was that instead of pumping what was probably millions into this study, that our governments should be cracking down on the gross polluters, the industrial and automotive industry.
