Borderlands Help!!!

I bought Borderlands yesterday for my birthday which is today to play with my friends on PC. The game runs smooth and plays for about 5 minutes before it freezes and becomes unresponsive and I get this error message:


Any help identifying the problem?

I did a quick google search and took this information:

- uninstall/clean/update your nVidia PhysX drivers
- update your Microsoft C++ redistributable
- update your video drivers OR roll them back to a previous version
- ensure you disable your antivirus software during installation
- try setting the game's affinity to one core
- install any missing .dll files the error is calling for from Microsoft (or other sources, like your video card manufacturer)
