Taipei,Taiwan May 14, 2004 –Kingmax, a leading memory solutions provider, today unveiled its new generation ultra high-speed DDR2 memory products. Specifically designed with the hardcore speedsters in mind, the new DDR2 products have exceptionally fast data transmission and greater bandwidth with its 4-bit data prefetch functionality.

The DDR2 products represent Kingmax's most recent generation of memory technology. Developed according to JEDEC specifications with 240-pin and 1.8V supply voltage, they have the ability to reduce power consumption by up to 50% while also improving heat dissipation. Additionally, the DDR2 chip uses on-die-termination (ODT) technology to maintain memory signal waves at high speeds, greatly increasing memory performance and upper clock limits. The Grantsdale (i915) desktop platform that most mainboard producers have in the works can support the faster DDR2 memory specifications. Together, they can meet the demands of the digital home appliance market.

Following on the heels of the global success of its DDR1 products, Kingmax is now rolling out its next generation DDR2 533 memory chips. With the 266MHz clocking and data transmission speeds of up to 4.3GB/s, the Kingmax DDR2 533 reduces interference from stray signals to its lowest point possible, greatly improving overall operational efficiency and stability of systems. Its exceptional heat dissipation capabilities and lower voltage design, along with its superb speed, stability and quality attests to the Kingmax DDR2 533's ultimate, flawless performance.

Key features of the KINGMAX DDR2 533 memory products:
l 240-pin 533MHz DDR module
l CAS Latencies: 3, 4, 5
l Voltage: 1.8V, reducing power consumption by approximately 50%
l Great heat dissipation capabilities
l Exceptional memory functionality and efficiency
l Available memory capacity: 256MB / 512MB / 1GB
l Global lifetime warranty

Kingmax is the world's first memory module manufacturer with advanced packaging and testing facilities. With its patented TinyBGA packaging technology and small physical size, great heat dissipation capabilities and stability of its memory products, Kingmax has challenged and overcome technological barriers by more than doubling memory capacity. This is why Kingmax has a distinctive edge over its rivals with its new generation, high bandwidth DDR2 memory products. Also, its mature R&D and design, manufacturing, and testing experience over the last five years with its TinyBGA memory modules is further testament that the best quality and stability are integral to the new Kingmax DDR2 memory products. All of Kingmax's memory products undergo a rigorous testing process to ensure 100% conformity and are covered by Kingmax's global lifetime warranty ensuring product quality. Kingmax has always been and will continue to be committed to providing consumers with the very best in memory solutions.
