BOXX Calls For Entries: “Break Up” Video Contest, Will Award New Workstation
AUSTIN, TEXAS, Feb. 3, 2015—BOXX Technologies, the leading innovator of high-performance workstations and rendering systems, today announced that they will award a new APEXX 2 overclocked workstation to the winner of a BOXX-sponsored video contest entitled “Break Up.” Timed to coincide with Valentine’s Day but continuing until March 20, 2015, the international contest requires users of competing workstations and PCs to submit a sixty second video detailing why they would like to break-up with their current system and “fall in love with BOXX.”

We expect a lot of funny, creative, and informative submissions, with the winner receiving a new APEXX 2.”

In a light-hearted commercial, BOXX asks creative professionals if they are in an “unhealthy relationship” with their workstation, and in keeping with the failed romance theme, adds, “If your system is slow, unresponsive, and lacking in support, it’s dragging you down. You’re frustrated, constantly fighting about the same old problems, and of course, you have trust issues. The romance is over and there’s no room for compromise in this relationship.” Submissions, judged by a panel of BOXX experts, will be evaluated on “creativity, ingenuity, and style.” Within sixty days of receiving their new BOXX workstation, the contest winner will also have an opportunity to win a 24” Samsung SC450 Series LED monitor by submitting a sixty second follow-up video demonstrating how the new APEXX 2 workstation has accelerated his/her workflow and increased productivity.
