Recent WU's

Post by camaroguy1998 »

With the crash and burn of one of my folders its given me reason to monitor things a little closer. I've noticed this week I'm getting some erratic behavior from some newer WU's(GPU's). I notice my CPU usage is all over the place! Sometimes it will drop to 0% usage and shoot up to 50% and then vary in the 1 to 8% range.
Has anyone else noticed this kind of behavior?

I've had some crazy *&& units this week. Fired up FahSpy just now, and the fun continues...

looks like I have ALL 1680pt GPU units. Ranging from 5ish to 7ish minutes per step. P5900, 5902 and 5903 right now.
Project 5900

This project is a constant-temperature simulation of the alpha/beta protein L, started from folded and unfolded states, using an implicit solvation model. The simulation component is identical to project 5759. This project is meant as a test of a new simulation core. These are full production runs designed to be run on the GPU clients.
Gamer - Thermaltake Element S | PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Black | Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3L | Intel E8400 | Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro | 4GB OCZ Reaper Ram | XFX 8800GTX | Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer | Seagate 7200.10 320GB

HTPC / Folder - Palit 9600GT 1GB Sonic | AMD Phenom 9600 | Corsair DHX 4GB | ECS GF8200A | OCZ StealthXStream 500
Thanks to Palit, AMD, Corsair and ECS for sponsoring the 2008 Folding Give-away!

Exactly, this folder I'm on (9600GSO)at the moment is running a WU from Project 5903 @ 8 minutes per step!
